i think we need to gently remind him of what our focus is. what we want to build up first. that we can think big, but maybe not peak, then plateau and nosedive in the space of three months? theres room for growth. it doesnt have to happen now. i dont think advocacy can hurt, but he needs to realise why we wanted to start this.
also, we cant let a divison get the better of us right now. we need to be humble, willing to listen and not desperate to take control. like pete said, everyone has their own agenda. satan will use this against us, he already is. we need to step back, listen to each other and know that God is sovereign. honestly... this is not actually OUR initiative.
